For high-COD Shopify stores
WhatsApp order confirmation, watched end to end.
CodWatchdog sends COD confirm / cancel messages over the official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, then keeps watch on the pipeline so a stalled send or a runaway bill does not surprise you later.
Built on the official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. No unofficial or linked personal-number automation.
COD orders ship blind
A cash-on-delivery order comes in and the next signal you get is a return. No confirmation step, no record of whether the customer actually wants the order.
Delivery messaging silently breaks
A webhook stalls, a template gets rejected, a phone number bounces. Most apps have no way to tell you any of this happened until a merchant notices orders going quiet.
WhatsApp spend has no brake
Utility messages cost money per conversation. Without a limit, a bug or a spike in orders can run the bill up before anyone notices.
What CodWatchdog actually does
Order-triggered confirm / cancel
New COD orders get a WhatsApp Utility message asking the customer to confirm or cancel, sent through your own connected WhatsApp Business Account.
A watchdog on the pipeline
CodWatchdog tracks every message from order to delivery status and raises an alert the moment something stalls: a stuck send, a missing webhook receipt, a delivery-health signal worth checking.
A spend budget you control
Set a budget for new CodWatchdog-originated sends. It is an estimate-based circuit breaker on our side, not a replacement for your Meta invoice, and it stops new sends before the estimate runs past what you set.
Where CodWatchdog is today
CodWatchdog is in active build, going through Meta's Business Verification and WhatsApp app review now. The Shopify app is not yet listed on the Shopify App Store. If you run a high-COD store and want to be one of the first merchants connected, reach out below.
